Worship
New Beginnings Fellowship meets for worship each Sunday morning at 10:00. This worship celebration is held in the The Riverwalk Communities Building, 101 SE 1st Street, Evansville, Indiana.
New Beginnings has a traditional worship style with songs of praise, classical Christian hymns, readings from the Scripture, special musical numbers, prayer and a contemporary study of the Word of God. The congregation actively seeks visitor attendance, participation, and membership. Thus, the worship services are open to all for worship and fellowship.
Support
New Beginnings is a community of faith -- certainly faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior but also daily faith for the provision of need. New Beginnings is not a denominational church and therefore has no denominational support. The church operates financially on the basis of the free-will offerings of members and friends.
Outreach
New Beginnings reaches out to the Evansville area through the "Seven Touches Ministry." The goal of this outreach is to eventually "touch" each family in our area with the positive message of Jesus Christ and thus allow each to make a knowledgeable decision regarding their relationship with Jesus. This decision is personal and individual in nature. Thus each individual is personally accountable for response to Christ"s invitation to follow Him.
Missions
New Beginnings has commitment to missions through the "Fellowship of the Least Coin" offering taken the first Sunday of each month as well as monthly support of Harvest Time Ministries, a feeding program in the Evansville area.
Christian Ordinances
New Beginnings observes the Christian ordinance of the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of each month. This worship celebration is available to all believers; it is not restricted to our local church or to any specific denomination. The ordinance of Baptism is observed upon request as an outward declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
Fellowship
New Beginnings sponsors a fellowship luncheon in those months which have a fifth Sunday. This luncheon follows the Sunday worship celebration. In addition other fellowship opportunities are planned at appropriate times during the year.
At New Beginnings the past is forgiven and forgotten; the present is restored and restructured; and the future is secure and satisfying.
