New Beginnings Fellowship: Membership


New Beginnings Fellowship is a local, congregational expression of the Christian faith, the Church Universal, the Body of Christ. As such the congregation unites for worship, service, fellowship, teaching, preaching, evangelism, prayer, and observance of the Christian ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

The common faith of this Community of Believers is expressed in the Statement of Faith (see Welcome Page).

Membership in the New Beginnings Fellowship is expressed in one of three possible ways.

Three Ways to Join!

First, one may become an enrolled member. An enrolled member joins the New Beginning Fellowship by:

  • Profession of faith in Jesus Christ;
  • Adherence to the Statement of Faith;
  • Transfer of membership from another Christian assembly;
  • Commitment to worship and service at New Beginnings.

Second, one may become a baptized member. This membership is for new believers or a believer who has not previously been baptized. A baptized member joins the New Beginnings Fellowship by:

  • Profession of faith in Jesus Christ;
  • Adherence to the Statement of Faith;
  • Baptism
  • Commitment to worship and service at New Beginnings.

Third, one may become an adherent member. An adherent member is one who desires to worship with the New Beginnings congregation and still retain official membership in another Christian church. An adherent member joins the New Beginnings Fellowship by:

  • Profession of faith in Jesus Christ;
  • Adherence to the Statement of Faith;
  • Commitment to worship and service at New Beginnings.
